We are loaded with attractions from golfing, fishing, Winter Texan events, Charro Days, air shows, birding, and wildlife refuges. Centrally located in Donna TX, midway between Harlingen and McAllen, and minutes from South Padres Island, Shady Acres Resort is a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle, and perhaps the best value in the Rio Grande Valley. The climate is semitropical, with average daily temperatures in the winter in the 70’s. Shady Acres is pet friendly!

Can accommodate RVs up to 40 ft, 30/50 amp service, full hook-ups, 1 comfort station, laundry, heated swimming pool, shuffleboard courts, horseshoe pits, air conditioned clubhouse, game room, lighted & paved streets.

For nightly and weekly guests, water and electricity is included. For guests staying longer than 1 month, water will be metered and billed. All guests staying longer than 1 month must establish their own electricity accounts.

All winter reservation deposits are non-refundable after November 15th. Shady Acres is pet friendly. All pets must be registered in the office with current vaccination records. We are a Senior 55+ park and reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
