SERPENT RIVER CAMPGROUND ( NO LONGER A KOA) is a RV Park in or near the town of Spragge. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a possible 100 sites to park your RV. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. If you are driving a 45 footer, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. Electric hookups are provided. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. I do not know about you, but I cannot live without 802.11 Wireless Internet and this park has it so that is a good thing. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Your pet is welcome at this park. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Swimming pool access is a nice touch for this park. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. I am confident that the kind folks at SERPENT RIVER CAMPGROUND ( NO LONGER A KOA) would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Spragge.
