SENATOR WILLIE M CHAVEZ STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Belen. It is a very small park with a claimed 12 sites to park your camper. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. If you are driving a Big Rig, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. No need to fill the freshwater since there are water hookups. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no WiFi. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Go ahead and bring along little ole Yeller since this park is Animal Friendly. Note – tent camping is forbidden. This park has some waterfront so you might get to enjoy the added benefit of the peace of water. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here.
