SANGCHRIS LAKE STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Rochester. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a claimed 197 slots to park your coach. This park has no pull thru sites. Do not worry too much about the length of your very large camper since the sites are built for large RVs. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little Mr K9 since this park is Animal Friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. A neat thing about this park is that it does have some waterfront attached to it. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Do not just drive by Rochester – instead stop and rest at SANGCHRIS LAKE STATE PARK.
