SANDBAR LAKE PROVINCIAL PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Ignace. It is a mostly medium park with a listed 80 rv sites to park your coach. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. If you are driving a Big Rig, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. Electric hookups are provided. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little Barky since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. I am confident that the kind folks at SANDBAR LAKE PROVINCIAL PARK would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Ignace.
