SAND LAKE CAMPGROUND AND COTTAGES is a RV Park in or near the town of Elgin. It is a small park with a reported 53 spots to park your coach. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. If you are driving a very large camper, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. No need to fill the freshwater since there are water hookups. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. One of the more civilized services – Wireless Internet – is provided by the owners of the park. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Addict – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little Paws since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip root beer float in style.
