SAN ISABEL NATIONAL FOREST – SILVER DOLLAR CG is a RV Park in or near the town of Leadville. It is a almost small park with a possible 43 pads to park your RV. This park has no pull thru sites. If you are driving a Motorhome, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. Bring your generator as this park does not have electric hookups. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a Couch Potato – no cable tv at this park. Your pet is welcome at this park. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Maybe if you are planning on visiting Leadville, you might find a great place to stay at SAN ISABEL NATIONAL FOREST – SILVER DOLLAR CG.
