SAM HOUSTON JONES STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Lake Charles. It is a small to medium park with a possible 62 slots to park your coach. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. If you are driving a large Class A, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. No need for a generator since the park has electric. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. No need to fill the freshwater since there are water hookups. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. One of the more civilized services – 802.11 WiFi – is provided by the owners of the park. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a Couch Potato – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little ole Yeller since this park is Animal Friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip soda in style.
