RYE PATCH STATE RECREATION AREA is a RV Park in or near the town of Lovelock. It is a almost small park with a reported 46 pads to park your camper. This park has no pull thru sites. Your very long camper should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. Make sure your generator is fueled up for this park. Electric looks to not be provided. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 Wireless Internet. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Go ahead and bring along little Sparky since this park is Animal Friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Maybe if you are planning on visiting Lovelock, you might find a great place to stay at RYE PATCH STATE RECREATION AREA.
