RUNNING BEAR CAMPING AREA is a RV Park in or near the town of Ascutney. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a claimed 95 slots to park your camper. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. Your Big Rig should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. Electric hookups are provided. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Some really good news is that a sewer connection is provided. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a Couch Potato – no cable tv at this park. Animals are welcome here. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. Bring your skivvies this park has access to a pool. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not just drive by Ascutney – instead stop and rest at RUNNING BEAR CAMPING AREA.
