ROUTT NATIONAL FOREST-DUMONT LAKE is a RV Park in or near the town of Steamboat Springs. It is a fairly small park with a reported 22 pads to park your home away from home. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. Your large RV should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. We do not believe the park has electric hookups. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. Make sure you have water in the fresh tank as water hookups are not provided. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a Couch Potato – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little Fluffy since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not be a stranger, when you are by Steamboat Springs, give the peeps at ROUTT NATIONAL FOREST-DUMONT LAKE a call.
