ROPER LAKE STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Safford. It is a small park with a reported 60 spots to park your coach. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. Do not worry too much about the length of your large Class A since the sites are built for large RVs. No need for a generator since the park has electric. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. No need to fill the freshwater since there are water hookups. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 WiFi. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Watcher – no cable tv at this park. Animals are welcome here. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Maybe if you are planning on visiting Safford, you might find a great place to stay at ROPER LAKE STATE PARK.
