ROCKY GAP STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Flintstone. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a possible 278 sites to park your recreational vehicle. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. Do not worry too much about the length of your 45 footer since the sites are built for large RVs. No need for a generator since the park has electric. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Watcher – no cable tv at this park. Your pet is welcome at this park. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip iced tea in style. If you ever get near Flintstone make sure you stop on by the ROCKY GAP STATE PARK.
