ROCKFORD LAKE STATE RECREATION AREA is a RV Park in or near the town of Beatrice. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a listed 107 slots to park your RV. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. If you are driving a Big Daddy RV, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. No need for a generator since the park has electric. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 WiFi. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Addict – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little Paws since this park is Animal Friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. Do not just drive by Beatrice – instead stop and rest at ROCKFORD LAKE STATE RECREATION AREA.
