RIVER CAMPGROUND RV PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Meeker. It is a very small park with a claimed 20 spots to park your home away from home. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. If your coach is 36 feet or longer you might want to call and see if you are too long. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Adding to your RVing joy, make sure you bring your stinky slinky as there are sewer connections at the park. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Go ahead and bring along little Fluffy since this park is Animal Friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Do not just drive by Meeker – instead stop and rest at RIVER CAMPGROUND RV PARK.
