RIVER CAMPGROUND AND LODGE is a RV Park in or near the town of Lakemont. It is a almost small park with a listed 50 rv sites to park your camper. This park has no pull thru sites. If your coach is 36 feet or longer you might want to call and see if you are too long. No need for a generator since the park has electric. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Sewer connections are provided. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Go ahead and bring along little Mr K9 since this park is Animal Friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. This park has some waterfront so you might get to enjoy the added benefit of the peace of water. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. I am confident that the kind folks at RIVER CAMPGROUND AND LODGE would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Lakemont.
