RIFLE GAP STATE PARK/COTTONWOOD CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Rifle. It is a medium park with a possible 89 rv sites to park your coach. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. Your large Class A should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. No need for a generator since the park has electric. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Your pet is welcome at this park. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. A neat thing about this park is that it does have some waterfront attached to it. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive.
