RICHARDS CANOE RENTAL CAMGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Alton. It is a very small park with a possible 15 spots to park your RV. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a Motorhome. Electric hookups are provided. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Some really good news is that a sewer connection is provided. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little Sparky since this park is Animal Friendly. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. Maybe if you are planning on visiting Alton, you might find a great place to stay at RICHARDS CANOE RENTAL CAMGROUND.
