RICHARD BONG STATE RECREATION AREA is a RV Park in or near the town of Kansasville. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a claimed 217 pads to park your home away from home. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. If you are driving a Big Daddy RV, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. No need for a generator since the park has electric. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of WiFi. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a Couch Potato – no cable tv at this park. Animals are welcome here. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. If you ever get near Kansasville make sure you stop on by the RICHARD BONG STATE RECREATION AREA.
