RICHARD B. RUSSELL STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Elberton. It is a fairly small park with a reported 28 spots to park your home away from home. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. Do not worry too much about the length of your Big Daddy RV since the sites are built for large RVs. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of WiFi. You will not have to miss the big game since Cable TV is part of this parks offering. Your pet is welcome at this park. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here.
