RICE LAKE STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Owatonna. It is a almost small park with a reported 42 slots to park your RV. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. If your coach is 36 feet or longer you might want to call and see if you are too long. Electric hookups are provided. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. Make sure you have water in the fresh tank as water hookups are not provided. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little Wags since this park is Animal Friendly. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. This park has some waterfront so you might get to enjoy the added benefit of the peace of water. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip soda in style. Do not just drive by Owatonna – instead stop and rest at RICE LAKE STATE PARK.
