RACCOON CREEK STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Hookstown. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a reported 172 slots to park your RV. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. We are not sure that your large RV can fit comfortably so please call ahead. No need for a generator since the park has electric. You will be thrilled to know that 50 amp service is provided. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Your pet is welcome at this park. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Maybe if you are planning on visiting Hookstown, you might find a great place to stay at RACCOON CREEK STATE PARK.
