R.SHAEFER HEARD PARK (WEST POINT LAKE) is a RV Park in or near the town of West Point. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a listed 117 pads to park your home away from home. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. Do not worry too much about the length of your very long RV rig since the sites are built for large RVs. No need for a generator since the park has electric. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. No need to fill the freshwater since there are water hookups. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a Couch Potato – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little Paws since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. A neat thing about this park is that it does have some waterfront attached to it. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Maybe if you are planning on visiting West Point, you might find a great place to stay at R.SHAEFER HEARD PARK (WEST POINT LAKE).
