PUSHAW LAKE CAMPGROUND AND MOOSE ISLAND is a RV Park in or near the town of Orono. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a reported 118 slots to park your coach. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. Do not worry too much about the length of your large Class A motorhome since the sites are built for large RVs. Electric hookups are provided. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Adding to your RVing joy, make sure you bring your stinky slinky as there are sewer connections at the park. I do not know about you, but I cannot live without 802.11 Wireless Internet and this park has it so that is a good thing. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little Mr K9 since this park is Animal Friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. This park has some waterfront so you might get to enjoy the added benefit of the peace of water. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not just drive by Orono – instead stop and rest at PUSHAW LAKE CAMPGROUND AND MOOSE ISLAND.
