PROMISED LAND STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Greentown. It is a large park with a possible 447 sites to park your home away from home. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. Do not worry too much about the length of your Big Daddy RV since the sites are built for large RVs. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. Make sure you have water in the fresh tank as water hookups are not provided. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Watcher – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little Barky since this park is Animal Friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not just drive by Greentown – instead stop and rest at PROMISED LAND STATE PARK.
