PRIDE OF AMERICA CAMPING RESORT is a RV Park in or near the town of Portage. It is a somewhat large park with a reported 329 sites to park your coach. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. Your mansion on wheels should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. No need for a generator since the park has electric. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. No need to fill the freshwater since there are water hookups. Adding to your RVing joy, make sure you bring your stinky slinky as there are sewer connections at the park. One of the more civilized services – 802.11 Wireless Internet – is provided by the owners of the park. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Your pet is welcome at this park. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. This park has some waterfront so you might get to enjoy the added benefit of the peace of water. Swimming pool access is a nice touch for this park. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. If you ever get near Portage make sure you stop on by the PRIDE OF AMERICA CAMPING RESORT.
