PRESTON BEND RECREATON AREA is a RV Park in or near the town of Pottsboro. It is a somewhat small park with a claimed 38 rv sites to park your coach. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. If you are driving a large Class A, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 WiFi. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Animals are welcome here. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. A neat thing about this park is that it does have some waterfront attached to it. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. If you ever get near Pottsboro make sure you stop on by the PRESTON BEND RECREATON AREA.
