PRAIRIE ISLAND CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Winona. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a claimed 200 spots to park your camper. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. Do not worry too much about the length of your large Class A motorhome since the sites are built for large RVs. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. You will be thrilled to know that 50 amp service is provided. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of WiFi. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Animals are welcome here. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. A neat thing about this park is that it does have some waterfront attached to it. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Do not be a stranger, when you are by Winona, give the peeps at PRAIRIE ISLAND CAMPGROUND a call.
