PRAIRIE CREEK CAMPGROUND (COE) is a RV Park in or near the town of Lowndesboro. It is a small park with a reported 55 slots to park your home away from home. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. Do not worry too much about the length of your 45 footer since the sites are built for large RVs. Electric hookups are provided. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. No need to fill the freshwater since there are water hookups. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Animals are welcome here. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. I am confident that the kind folks at PRAIRIE CREEK CAMPGROUND (COE) would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Lowndesboro.
