PORCUPINE MOUNTAIN WILDERNESS STATE PARK/UNION BAY CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Ontonagon. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a possible 100 slots to park your camper. This park has no pull thru sites. Do not worry too much about the length of your Motorhome since the sites are built for large RVs. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Go ahead and bring along little Wags since this park is Animal Friendly. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. If you ever get near Ontonagon make sure you stop on by the PORCUPINE MOUNTAIN WILDERNESS STATE PARK/UNION BAY CAMPGROUND.
