POMME DE TERRE STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Pittsburg. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a possible 257 sites to park your recreational vehicle. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. Your large Class A should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. No need for a generator since the park has electric. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 WiFi. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Addict – no cable tv at this park. Indications are that this park is not particularly animal friendly. Note – tent camping is forbidden. A neat thing about this park is that it does have some waterfront attached to it. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not be a stranger, when you are by Pittsburg, give the peeps at POMME DE TERRE STATE PARK a call.
