POINSETT STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Wedgefield. It is a almost small park with a possible 50 sites to park your camper. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. Do not worry too much about the length of your Big Daddy RV since the sites are built for large RVs. Electric hookups are provided. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. I do not know about you, but I cannot live without 802.11 Wireless Internet and this park has it so that is a good thing. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Addict – no cable tv at this park. Your pet is welcome at this park. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Do not be a stranger, when you are by Wedgefield, give the peeps at POINSETT STATE PARK a call.
