POCONO CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Long Pond. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a reported 100 spots to park your coach. This park has no pull thru sites. We are not sure that your large Class A motorhome can fit comfortably so please call ahead. No need for a generator since the park has electric. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. Adding to your RVing joy, make sure you bring your stinky slinky as there are sewer connections at the park. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Your pet is welcome at this park. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. Swimming pool access is a nice touch for this park. Do not just drive by Long Pond – instead stop and rest at POCONO CAMPGROUND.
