PKNEY RECREATION AREA (BRUIN LAKE) is a RV Park in or near the town of Pinckney. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a listed 186 spots to park your home away from home. This park has no pull thru sites. If you are driving a large RV, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Your pet is welcome at this park. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. This park has some waterfront so you might get to enjoy the added benefit of the peace of water. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. I am confident that the kind folks at PKNEY RECREATION AREA (BRUIN LAKE) would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Pinckney.
