PIONEER CAMPSITE RESORT is a RV Park in or near the town of Wabasha. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a reported 240 sites to park your recreational vehicle. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a Big Rig. Electric hookups are provided. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. Some really good news is that a sewer connection is provided. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Animals are welcome here. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Swimming pool access is a nice touch for this park. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not be a stranger, when you are by Wabasha, give the peeps at PIONEER CAMPSITE RESORT a call.
