PIKE LAKE STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Hartford. It is a fairly small park with a claimed 28 pads to park your RV. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a 45 footer. Electric hookups are provided. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no Wireless Internet. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Go ahead and bring along little Mr K9 since this park is Animal Friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip jack and coke in style. I am confident that the kind folks at PIKE LAKE STATE PARK would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Hartford.
