PICKETT STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Jamestown. It is a fairly small park with a possible 22 slots to park your home away from home. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a very large camper. Electric hookups are provided. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 Wireless Internet. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Animals are welcome here. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Bring your skivvies this park has access to a pool. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. If you ever get near Jamestown make sure you stop on by the PICKETT STATE PARK.
