PETERSBURG CAMPGROUND (COE) is a RV Park in or near the town of Appling. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a claimed 93 sites to park your camper. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. Your 45 footer should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. Electric hookups are provided. You will be thrilled to know that 50 amp service is provided. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Animals are welcome here. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. If you ever get near Appling make sure you stop on by the PETERSBURG CAMPGROUND (COE).
