PARKSIDE MARINA RESORT is a RV Park in or near the town of Lake Charles. It is a very small park with a reported 16 sites to park your camper. This park has no pull thru sites. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a very large camper. Electric hookups are provided. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Your pet is welcome at this park. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. I am confident that the kind folks at PARKSIDE MARINA RESORT would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Lake Charles.
