PALMETTO STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Gonzales. It is a very small park with a listed 18 spots to park your RV. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. Do not worry too much about the length of your 45 footer since the sites are built for large RVs. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Animals are welcome here. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip jack and coke in style. I am confident that the kind folks at PALMETTO STATE PARK would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Gonzales.
