PALISADE STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Sterling. It is a mostly medium park with a reported 76 rv sites to park your home away from home. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. If you are driving a mansion on wheels, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. No need for a generator since the park has electric. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. Adding to your RVing joy, make sure you bring your stinky slinky as there are sewer connections at the park. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 WiFi. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a Couch Potato – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little Rusty since this park is Animal Friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. This park has some waterfront so you might get to enjoy the added benefit of the peace of water. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not just drive by Sterling – instead stop and rest at PALISADE STATE PARK.
