OHIO TURNPIKE REST STOP-PORTAGE is a RV Park in or near the town of Portage. It is a very small park with a listed 12 rv sites to park your RV. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. Your Big Daddy RV should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. No need for a generator since the park has electric. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. I do not know about you, but I cannot live without 802.11 Wireless Internet and this park has it so that is a good thing. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little Wags since this park is Animal Friendly. Note – tent camping is forbidden. I am confident that the kind folks at OHIO TURNPIKE REST STOP-PORTAGE would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Portage.
