OASIS STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Portales. It is a somewhat small park with a claimed 23 sites to park your coach. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. Do not worry too much about the length of your very large camper since the sites are built for large RVs. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. Adding to your RVing joy, make sure you bring your stinky slinky as there are sewer connections at the park. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Go ahead and bring along little Wags since this park is Animal Friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Maybe if you are planning on visiting Portales, you might find a great place to stay at OASIS STATE PARK.

Just a few short notes about the entries about Oasis State Park in Portales, NM.  In it’s description is says it has 30 + campsites, truth is it has 23 total sites with (10 tent and 13 with electric).  Two of the electric sites have sewer hookups but the park has a dump station.  Of the 13 electric sites only 4 of them have 50 amp and the others are 30 amp.  All sites have water.  Thank you for listing out park on your site.
