NEWTON HILLS STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Canton. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a claimed 118 spots to park your camper. This park has no pull thru sites. Do not worry too much about the length of your 45 footer since the sites are built for large RVs. Electric hookups are provided. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little Rusty since this park is Animal Friendly. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. I am confident that the kind folks at NEWTON HILLS STATE PARK would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Canton.
