NEBRASKA NATIONAL FOREST (BESSEY RECREATION AREA) is a RV Park in or near the town of Halsey. It is a somewhat small park with a claimed 35 pads to park your recreational vehicle. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. Do not worry too much about the length of your Big Daddy RV since the sites are built for large RVs. No need for a generator since the park has electric. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Animals are welcome here. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip lemonade in style.
