MUSKALLONGE LAKE STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Newberry. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a reported 100 spots to park your camper. This park has no pull thru sites. Do not worry too much about the length of your very long camper since the sites are built for large RVs. Electric hookups are provided. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 WiFi. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Animals are welcome here. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. This park has some waterfront so you might get to enjoy the added benefit of the peace of water. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip gin and tonics in style. I am confident that the kind folks at MUSKALLONGE LAKE STATE PARK would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Newberry.
