MURPHYS CAMPING ON THE OCEAN is a RV Park in or near the town of Tangier. It is a almost small park with a possible 50 slots to park your home away from home. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. If you are driving a large RV, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. No need for a generator since the park has electric. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a Couch Potato – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little Wags since this park is Animal Friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. A neat thing about this park is that it does have some waterfront attached to it. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Maybe if you are planning on visiting Tangier, you might find a great place to stay at MURPHYS CAMPING ON THE OCEAN.
