MT RAINIER NATL PARK/COUGAR ROCK CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Longmire. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a reported 173 spots to park your home away from home. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. If your coach is 36 feet or longer you might want to call and see if you are too long. Make sure your generator is fueled up for this park. Electric looks to not be provided. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Animals are welcome here. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here.
