MT MISERY CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Voluntown. It is a fairly small park with a listed 22 pads to park your coach. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a large RV. Make sure your generator is fueled up for this park. Electric looks to not be provided. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Addict – no cable tv at this park. Indications are that this park is not particularly animal friendly. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Do not just drive by Voluntown – instead stop and rest at MT MISERY CAMPGROUND.
