MOUNT DIABLO STATE PARK/JUNIPER CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Clayton. It is a somewhat small park with a reported 36 spots to park your coach. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. If your coach is 36 feet or longer you might want to call and see if you are too long. Bring your generator as this park does not have electric hookups. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Your pet is welcome at this park. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. I am confident that the kind folks at MOUNT DIABLO STATE PARK/JUNIPER CAMPGROUND would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Clayton.
